Felicia Trembath – Secretary

Felicia has an MPH and is a Ph.D. candidate in epidemiology. A fellow with the Health Systems Integration Fellowship Program through CDC/CSTE, Felicia works on integrating health information across health systems throughout Maricopa County. Additionally, she is adjunct faculty in the college of Nursing and Health Care Professions at GCU. 

Felicia has served many public health organizations. She sits on the Board of Directors for the International Society for Disease Surveillance. While completing her MPH at Purdue University, she founded the MPH Student Panel and served on the Executive Board of the Purdue Public Health Association. Since relocating to Arizona, Felicia has served the AzPHA, aiding in drafting a letter on the proposed physical education standards and serving on the annual awards committee in 2014 and 2015. 

Felicia wants to contribute to the exciting changes happening in Arizona. As Secretary, her skills in data management and attention to detail will help further the work and mission of AzPHA. Felicia has worked in many public health settings, including federal, state, local, non profit, and academic institutions. She learned much about how these organizational structures operate, and is often a facilitator bringing together collaborators. She will bring these skills to AzPHA and facilitate interaction and collaboration between AzPHA and other organizations, including government agencies, private corporations, and academic institutions. Felicia will apply her fifteen years of experiences working in public health settings and serving in public health organizations to AzPHA and will work hard towards the advancement of public health in Arizona.
